General iOS Mail - How to Add an Alias?

Hello,

I am trying to configure my work Exchange account.
I have 1 email address and 1 alias.

However, no matter what I try, I cannot manage to "send as" my alias email address.

I tried:
- Setting up Exchange account with the Alias address. no luck
- Setting up Exchange account, add alias address in address field with ", alias@email.com"

anyone knows or has ideas on what to try?
I'm also trying to set that up on my Mac, and have the same issues.

no way in ios mail - needs to be done in gmail/outlook/exchange acoount
