Hello all! I just recently purchased an iPhone 6 and as you know it came with iOS 8. I have had a problem while using the music app. I synced my entire music library over to the new phone and the app played a few songs off of an album and after that I tried to play another song on a different album and the app skips over songs repeatedly until it reaches a song purchased off of the iTunes store and streams that song from the server.
I know my music is on the phone because I can see that it takes up about 9GB of storage. As a side problem I have an album of mp3s that i added to my library and choosing to sync all of my music that album does not even appear on the phone.

Part of iOS8 was a switch front he established iPodMusicPlayer framework to the new systemMusicPlayer one. I think maybe there are some wrinkles in there.

I've encountered similar behaviours. Removing all music from the devices and then resyncing it on has solved it for me!

That did it for me. Thanks!
