My concept uses the current UI but makes it more powerful by taking usual actions right from the Notification Center without opening apps.

    How it works:
Swiping left on a notification brings up a set of options that would usually have to be done by opening relevant apps and could take 2-3 steps. This works with all notifications. Apps from the App store can take advantage of this too. For example: A Facebook notification can be commented on, liked, or shared right from the Notification Center.

I like it. Seems to take cues from Mailbox, which isn't a bad thing. But I think it could be expanded upon, even if only slightly, to make it more useful.

For example, the "swipe left" options all appear logical but it seems like a natural progression on your current concept that there would also be a "swipe right" action that would result in one or more option(s). The most obvious of those options, at least to me, would be to clear the notification.

I've seen plenty of posts where people complain about the tiny tap target currently available to clear notifications and I've certainly messed up trying to tap it before as well. Also, I've seen posts -- and I share this sentiment, too -- where people complain that the only option is to either not clear the notifications or to clear them all. A "swipe right" action implemented on a "per notification" basis would seemingly address both of these issues.

good idea. A few small, but important things, I want from IOS 7 is quick reply and clearing notifications from lock screen. I actually would be really surprised if quick reply was not added.

Well, I like these. Would third party apps providers have access to the three options after the left slide?

OP, I like this concept. Definitely would make the NC much more useful. The SMS quick reply is probably my favourite part.

I don't see why Apple couldn't leave room for that if they did implement something like this. It's not like it would drain battery or reduce performance.

How about swiping to the right can delete the notification. I am getting sick of tapping that tiny (x).

Really good idea, maybe swipe right for actions, swipe left to clear.

    Submit to Apple!

Just did. But I feel there are a lot of other people who had put in their thoughts about the little x and a alternative to apple.

But the more people putting in that feedback the more Apple will listen. I think. ;)

So just like android erh? Tiny x button is a pain to press. I always miss that.
But I don't think apple will bother with that.
