I wanted to learn a b it more about the iOS subscription feature which was recently unveiled. Unfortunately, despite having registered as an iOS developer (not paid yet), I cannot access the information about it (permissions-based denial - guessing you have to be paid up).

I just wanted to know Apple's cut on the subscriptions?

- Is there a minimum term tied into the subscriptions? I.e. can developers dictate how long a user must be tied into a "contractual" term with a subscription for a particular app? Or is it strictly a rolling basis?

- If so, what are the stipulations as well as the the minimum and maximum lengths?

- Is it 30% that Apple take from each subscription paid? Or 30% of the entire subscription period? How does this work in terms of Apple's "commission"?

Sorry if these are obvious questions, it's just tricky finding the information succinctly, even on the Apple site!

Thanks,

DD
