Apple has given IOS update which solve bugs and the screen unresponsiveness after fluctuation in temperature. Also, fixes distortion in live photos and videos.

1. There is no line, no idea what you’re taking about.

2. It’s much snappier. The whole OS is faster.

3. Especially Face ID, feels like it unlocks and gets to the home screen 20% faster for me.

PSA. You have a better chance of winning the lottery than of being the first person to announce an iOS update (or any other Apple announcement) to the Macrumors iPhone forum, especially 8 hours after it came out and was announced on the home page. So maybe don't bother.

There is in the latest beta, a line on the lock screen top right corner showing where to swipe down for control center. Guessing that is what he is talking about.

Gotcha. Just saw the video. It's only on the lock screen so it doesn't bother me.

Still wish the alarm clock indicator was on the lock screen. Bugs me that I have to swipe to confirm I'm going to wake up on time the next morning.

That bugs me so much. I wish both an alarm indicator and the earliest alarm time itself would show up on the home screen. Plenty of screen real estate... But at least the alarm indicator should return without needing a swipe to see it. Ugh.
