iOS Upgrade Speed Concern

To me, I don't find the iPhone 4S worth the upgrade or w/e but my concern is this: Will the release of iOS 5 make the current iP4 a dinosaur? I have no problems with speed or anything as my phone is as fast as the first day I got it.

Reason being is that I saw the damage that the iOS upgrade did to the 3GS which was a primary reason why I upgraded to the 4....

What are you guys thoughts about that?😕

I think the only thing you'll really be "missing" is siri, and the "faces" feature thingy in the camera app.

anything else is really related to the hardware itself, I suppose siri could run on a Iphone 4 but apple wants to sell the Iphone 4S, so they hold it back.

All the anecdotal evidence I've seen so far is that iOS5 runs great on the iphone 4 and even the 3GS.

I'm hoping it does because the upgrade offers a few key features that I'd like to use.
