Apps iOS weather app complication location arrow always on iPhone

Really annoying bug or feature, not sure if it’s happening to anyone else, whenever I use the apple weather app complications on my Apple Watch face I get a location arrow on my iPhone that doesn’t go away.

Anyone else having this issue? 🥺

That's normal and will occur with any other complication that requires location services

Doesn’t it drain the battery quicker on the phone by it always being on?

When the icon is hallow, it doesn’t cause any extra drain. Only when it is solid, is when it will cause excessive drain.
