Not sure if this is the right spot for my post/question so sorry in advance.

I am looking to buy the new Ipad Pro 12 inch but my main reason for getting is the integration of my My Cloud into the files folder. For those with the new Ipad Pro and/or running ios11 is there a way to quickly access/drop files into your My Cloud?

While the app is very easy to use from a photo standpoint it would be great to import photos and quickly swipe/drop into the drive via the files folder.

Hopefully that makes sense.

Stephen.

Yes. I have an Air 2 on 11.1 Beta and own a My Cloud. I have My Cloud available through my network in the FileBrowser app on my Air 2 - I can readily access all shares on it (including 4 hard drives attached via USB hub). I put Files in my Air 2 dock. I opened a My Cloud share in FileBrowser and then opened Files side-by-side by swiping it from the dock. I was able to swipe and drop files from Files into a share on the My Cloud, no problem. I also successfully tried the opposite direction - copied a file from a My Cloud folder to the FileBrowser folder visible in Files.

Thanks!
My wife has an ipad air and the wd my cloud does not appear in her list of available spots for the files app. I'm sure it will take some setting up to get everything aligned to my satisfaction.

If I went the lesser route and did the 9.7 Ipad Pro I would be fine too right?

Anyway you could post a screenshot of how your "files" is setup so I can see what to look for with the My Cloud App?

My Cloud does not show up in the Files app - the My Cloud share was in the FileBrowser app window that I had open side-by-side with the Files app. I did a drag-and-drop from the Files app window into the FileBrowser window (the My Cloud share being open in the FileBrowser window) and vice-versa. I don't believe that Files can see/access external shares like My Cloud - that's why I had My Cloud open in FileBrowser.

I got it now, I need to buy/download the FileBrowser App and that way I can do the transfer that I had mentioned above.
