ios4 + 3gs w/new bootrom... jailbreak estimate?

Hey,


I was wondering how long i should prepare myself to wait for a jailbreak...
I have a 3gs with the new bootrom and am running a straight-up 4.0 installation.

Spirit came out maybe 5 or so months after the new bootrom?
Is it safe to guess that it may take another five months for a jailbreak to come out for 4.0?

Why does it take so much longer for new bootrom jailbreak to come out, compared to the regular jailbreak?

If you had the old boot rom but already upgraded to ios4 are you screwed too?

With the old bootrom you are ok as long as if you had not used spirit.

Yes, unless you have SHSH's saved for 3.1.2 and you can downgrade it to that and JB.
Then update to custom 4.0

For all new bootrom 3GS models nothing is available now.
All you can do is wait.
There is no JB time estimates, noone knows.
