iOS4 and mail chime

i have a 3GS, and installed ios4. is it my imagination or is the new mail chime messed up?
i think under OS3.xx the music volume would descend and you would hear the new mail chime when you got new email. now it seems to chime and then the music volume descends... bug?

I'll have to test this out on mine. I'll let you know if mine does the same!

ADDITIONAL INFO- happens with incoming text chime too.. happens when i listen to pandora.. dont know if it happens when i listen to my own music
