iOS4 background Pandora kills battery, when paused?

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that with Pandora in the background, even with music paused, the battery drops pretty fast? To prevent this I have to kill the app in the background tray.

this didnt happen to me. Pandora has been "paused" in my background for 7 hours now and my batt is fine

yea its been happening to me too. running pandora on a 3gs w/ iOS4 is killing my battery 🙁
