iOS5 and iMessage: sending only from email?

Hi there,

My mum just set up her iMessage stuff on her iOS5, but for whatever reason, it only "Receives At" her Apple ID email address (not her phone #). Is there a way to add this? Right now the only thing I see is a place to add another email address...

Interesting because mine was using my cell number and all of the sudden today it is showing up in it's own folder under an email address vs the conversations that I had via phone number. Same person texting me - 2 separate conversations going now. I don't like that!

I don't want it to use two separate boxes to get to the same person. It is now showing on my son's iPhone with the email address and not the cell #.

I will be interested as to what is happening to other people today.

Is the caller ID in the settings still set to the phone number as the default?
