Hi all,

Just upgraded my IP4 to IOS5 and exchange server email doesnt sync correctly.

My company pushes a policy when syncing to the exchange server and with IOS5 it errors.

The current software doesn't support the encryption.

Great

Make sure you report it.

Make sure you report it.

Exactly. It's obvious that iOS5 you have is still beta.

The issue is exactly why the devs have access to it first, so real time use will help weed out issues before the masses get it.

Is this only due to your company's encryption?

The reason I ask is because I use my Gmail, but I set it up as Exchange, so I get instant push e-mail and I am hoping it won't have the same issue.

Thanks.

Same problem here

I had to deactivate my exchange account. So my work mail and work calendar are no longer available on iPhone. My gmail accoyunt still works though (setup as an exchange account)

I've heard that Google and Windows Live accounts work fine with Exchange in iOS 5

They don't work like corporate Exchange accounts do.

The problem is with connecting to Exchange 2010. Exchange 2007 works.

The problem is not specific to Exchange 2007 or 2010 it can affect both. I had the same issue on my iPad 2 and my iPhone 4. Gmail worked fine but no work exchange.

I had my administrator turn off the "Require Device Encryption" and "Require Media Card Encryption" in the Exchange Active Sync policy and now it works fine.

Similar problem

What are the symptoms you're seeing? My iPhone syncs great with exchange 2010, but it prevents the Outlook on my desktop from receiving new messages automatically. When I remove the exchange account from my phone, my outlook starts working correctly. Fun huh :)

Edit: I should clarify that this behavior started when I installed the beta release.
