    Hi,

Sorry to start a new thread but keep getting conflicting info about this. Does anyone know when the IOS5 software upgrade will come out in the UK? Seems some people think this week but have apple made it official yet?

    Cheers

Thanks. I take it the will be a new iTunes version when it's available and then it will automatically download when phone is plugged in like previous upgrades? Or will it need to be purchased from apple separately?

    Thanks.

Will be a free upgrade via iTunes. The betas and GM have required an updated version of iTunes to install & backup etc so would imagine the iOS release will be preceded by a software update to iTunes.
