It's not that far out there. At least this one is loosely based on an actual patent Apple filed.

I saw that awhile ago. A lot of Apple's patents are not seen for years or if ever. Cover your ass is their motto. Patent it before others think about it.

This is another bug, you can't tell if Airdrop is set to On, Off, Contacts Only, or Everyone. There is no indicator which setting is being used. 😡
