This has been annoying me for a while now in iOS7... but... the info plist says that the status bar should initially be hidden, but when you run the app the status bar shows up.

What's the magic trick to make it go away in iOS7?
I'm using the GM version of xcode 5...

I've searched on the internet for this but I always get articles about how iOS7 is different or people wanting to show the status bar programatically...
my search term has been "ios 7 status bar always showing objective c xcode" so... no idea why no one else has had this issue.

nevermind, I stumbled upon the the right thing in the plist when looking for something else. It's right at the bottom. View controller based status b...
