Hello

I understood that iOS had some sort of 'smart' wifi usage, whereas if you locked your iPhone, if any application was using the Wifi, it would remain on, meaning that apps like Dropbox could keep uploading your files without the screen on.

However, in iOS7, it appears to just stop uploading once the screen is locked.

Has Apple bummed up the smart monitoring, or is it a Dropbox issue? Its the same for my wife's iPhone5 and my iPhone 4S

Anyone having this sort of issue?

Infact I just re-unlocked the screen to see that Dropbox was 'waiting for wifi'

So I know the phone isn't keeping the connection alive...

I have background app refreshing on before anyone suggests that!
