iOS7 - iPad 3 - Incredibly slow wallpaper selection process

Is anyone seeing this? I am using the iOS7 GM seed. I am using an iPad 3 WiFi model. It can take up to 10 seconds for a wallpaper to react to a press on the thumbnail. I'm not sure how Apple is considering to ship this in this state.
 
Can you say if the transparencies are back on ipad3???
Notification Center, Command Center, Keyboard transparencies, etc?!?
 
Typing Chinese can sometimes take few seconds to respond any input with new keyboard. However, with old style keyboard, typing Chinese is joy.
 
Ok, can someone post a picture of the notification or command center?
There either is blur/transparency or there isn't. You both can't be right.

Hmm. It is transparent in that I can visibly see icons behind Control Center and Notification Center, but it is not blurring as my iPhone 5 does.
 
There is transparency in Notification Centre and Control Centre, but there is no blurring of the background as there is on the iPhone version.
 
Is the notification center just a very dark almost black, but with some MINIMAL transparency? Is it like beta6 was or like the earlier betas?
