I was under the impression that if you received a notification on one device and read/cleared that notification that it wouldn't show up on any other devices. Is this not correct or do I have a problem with mine?

I know it works for mail and messages.

I don't have push notifications on for mail but messages still show up with Imessage. Is this not supposed to work with app notifications as well though? It's pretty annoying to have all the same ones on multiple devices if you have already acknowledged them on another device.
