I was curious if any of the developers out there running the iOS7 Beta have a Pebble watch and if it automatically will push all notifications to the watch like its supposed to? I'm curious if iOS7 itself will fix this or if it will require the Pebble guys to updated the watch/app itself to get all notifications to push to the watch.

I ask because I'm currently on a JB iPhone5 and with BTNotificationEnabler I get all notifications pushed to my Pebble, which is GREAT. However, I have an issue with my iPhone that I believe will lead to the Apple Store replacing it with a new phone under warranty. In this situation I loose my JB and therefore only will get iMessage/SMS notifications so I'm curious how long I will have to put up with not getting all notifications.

The answer is no on the current beta. It probably won't until GM and will probably also require a Pebble firmware update.

It doesn't seem like Apple wants to fix it. I'm not holding my breath.

It's still a beta. There is an entirely new Bluetooth stack in iOS7, but developers still can't talk about it. I have heard (on the Pebble forums) that when it is released AND the Pebble app is updated, iOS/Pebble users will be very happy.

At this point I think we just have to have patience.

In the meantime... as a Pebble user... you know about the so-called "finger dance" to make notifications work, correct? I get notifications from every app I want to, even under iOS7.

I don't know about this finger dance... Sounds interesting

It's not as interesting as it sounds, certainly. Ha.

Here's how it works.

On your iPhone in Settings - Notification Center, go to each app you want to show notifications on your Pebble. Make sure it is set to "Display on Lock Screen" (I think that's at the bottom.) Then toggle the type of notification from none and back to either banner or alert, whichever you prefer. You have to toggle the notification type off and then back on for every app you want to show.

The notifications will work until your Pebble disconnects (ie you walk away from your phone out of bluetooth range... unfortunately it also seems prone to occasional random disconnects).

It seems like Caller ID (with numbers at least) and texts/iMessages almost always work. The rest can be enabled with the finger dance.

One that does not seem to work with iOS7 is Reminders. This seems like an iOS beta issue rather than a Pebble issue, but I thought I'd mention it.

Like I said before, all rumors and indications seem to be that there will be a better way to handle all of this once iOS7 is final.

Thanks! that works perfect and helps a ton!
