iOS7 Pedometer

I was trying to find out if the Pedometer mentioned in yesterdays keynote was just for the iPhone 5S or if it is an update for iOS 7 - meaning it can be used on all devices running iOS 7?

It's a feature of the M7 chip - which is not in the iphone 5 or previous iPhones, only in the iPhone 5S.

Check out the newly updated Argus Motion & Fitness Tracker app, it's using the M7 coproc.

You can use Argus on devices earlier than a 5s as well and it's amazingly accurate. Downside is 25-30% battery drain for running it all day in background vs. 0% battery drain on 5s.
