iOS7 Wifi Devices

Under Wifi today I noticed a new section called devices. It only appears if a device is around. (I don't know what the device is, its called MP and shows its Wifi strength.

The device appears after all wifi networks are shown.

Is this new or old feature? and what is a wifi device? Just a Ad-hoc device?

Given the devices you're running I'd hazard a guess that this is something to do with Airdrop's configuration 🙂

I was thinking airdrop too. However I'm at work (away from my other devices) and airdrop doesn't show any users.

I think it has to do with Wifi hotspots.
