Received my easy one touch 2 on Monday along with my iPhone 6 plus spigen air case. I was nervous that even with a very thin case the 6plus would be too big for this mount. I was wrong! The case fits with about .25 inches on each side, and the clamps grab it strongly. My 2009 Nissan Rogue has both a deep windshield and no room close to me on the dash to put a mount, but with the telescoping arm I was able to easily mount this within a comfortable reach in the center of my dashboard above the radio and air vents. The suction cup is on tight and I am able to maneuver the mount into multiple positions easily. I've owned 4 or 5 mounts over the years, this is by far the best! can't wait to get my phone to put in this case and mount! Works great with my iPhone 5 also

Considering the nook that held my iPhone 5 is now to small for the 6 Plus, I am definitely getting myself one of these.

let me know if you want more pics or video of it... my case for my 6+ is really minimal, no way it would fit anything like an otter box... probably 1/4" or so open (maybe 1/3") on each side of case before snapping the arm clamps on it, but it definitely holds it tight...

Hmm... I have one of the Spigen Neo Hybrid cases (which is quite minimal) on order, but I'd sorta toyed with the idea of also ordering the Slim Armor, which is a bit thicker.

The slim armor definitely fits and like the OP said, even though there isn't much space on either side before the arms clamp on, its a real tight sturdy fit.

Does this mount rotate? I can think of several applications I'd want to run in landscape mode while driving, especially with the 6 Plus's special landscape stuff.

I went cheap and bought the easy one touch XL. mostly for one reason, had a slightly wider clip (up to 3.5") which helps for a bulkier case if need be. I currently have the original one touch and swear by it.

According to ebay, the difference between these two products price-wise is only 5 bucks (20-25 bucks new). If the XL doesn't work out, I'll be getting a 2.

How is it staying put so far?

I use to have that civic a while ago and actually setup a mount in that same location. Different mount, but it popped loose every now and then. Let us know how it holds up.

I intend to use my 6 plus without a case.

Do you think the side arms or the button in the middle will scratch the phone ? Do they have sufficient cushion material to protect the phone surface ?

They do have a soft rubber on the insides of the clamps

Not sure if it will cause scratches or not. You could always put a soft Velcro or something taped onto it for protection also

Thx for the reviews and pics guys. Just installed this and can attest to its build quality and functionality. There isnt an application where you can't adjust this mount to an optimal location for viewing. And it fits my iphone 6 plus just fine with a spigen ultra hybrid case on it. One touch operations also a plus, kuddos to iOttie! Picked it up for $17.99 on Amazon.

I'm considering the iOttie one as well for my 6+. However, concerned about the lower arm blocking audio ports. ( sometimes my car and iphone refuse to pair over bluetooth. thanks iOS 8). does that impact sound ?
