Hello,
I have a MacBook Pro and use Airport/Time Capsule for my Network. I recently bought a A/V Receiver that is connected to the Airport/Time Capsule via an Ethernet cable so that I can use its built in internet radio feature. To complete the setup I need to know the IP address that Airport/Time Capsule assigns to the A/V receiver. Can someone tell me how to find that out???
Thanks very much!!

Your Airport/Router should tell you what IP addresses are used in its DHCP scope. With the IP address, it should give you it's associated MAC address of your A/V receiver. Then you will need to know the MAC address of your A/V receiver. Then you should be able to to figure it out. But I am assuming you don't have much hosts on your network , so you can just keep trying to access the receiver by the IP addresses that are used in the scope.

But shouldn't there be an option on the receiver of which IP address you got?

If this is confusing just PM and I can help you further... :)
