I’m looking for some inexpensive IP Camera Recording Software to display and save RTSP video from two Amcrest IP cameras that I use for wildlife monitoring (IP2M-841 & IP3M-941)
I’ve already tried the Swiss army knife of video - VLC, which works pretty nicely but…
- the displayed/saved video has significant motion artifacts which mess up the most interesting wildlife behavior observations.
I’m currently trialing the DComplex IP Camera Recorder, which displays & saves the RTSP video without the motion artifacts but…
- it’s pricey at $40/camera and
- it stores the video in 1min .MOV files, that require exporting and significant post processing to locate and extract the interesting wildlife behavior.
Suggestions???
