Hi all,

For the first time last week, I purchased my new iPhone using Apple's finance offer. I have always bought my iPhone outright, but this year, particularly this last few weeks, I've had huge repair bills for two poorly cars, a huge bill for new glasses for everyone and the dishwasher blew up! I've had better weeks!

Anyway, long story short............I've been using the 11 pro max for the last couple years and love it, but it had a slight accident with my tool drawer in the garage which rendered it FUBAR. So, I went along to my local Apple store and picked up a 12 pro max on finance, with the intent of paying it all off in a couple of months when things settle down. However - I hate it, the squarer edges are really annoying. I've give it a week using it everyday to try and get used to it, I just can't.

So, I'm going to take it back and buy a refurbed 11 pro max sourced elsewhere.

Seeing it's on finance, does anyone have any experience of returning an unwanted phone took out on finance? Where there any issues? Should I foresee any issues?

Many thanks in advance.

If you're within the 14 day window the iPhone can be returned no questions asked.

Finance will be cancelled as a matter of course without issue.

No issue what so ever. Just do hold onto receipts incase financing through carriers, because they sometimes are just a pain

The square edges will probably be on every new iPhone for at least 6 more years. Do you really want to keep an iPhone 11 until 2027 or longer?

I say get over it and embrace the new (old) square edge design on the 12. Otherwise it's going to be a looooooong wait until maybe a curved edge iPhone appears a decade from now - if ever again

There are plenty of 'rounded' edge alternatives out there. No need to keep an ip11 until 2027. My missus has the Pixel 4a5g - a great phone, size and feel about it. I'm not bothered about it being an iPhone. Anyway, I'm a patient person. We'll see how it pans out with my 11 pro max refurb.

As long as you are still in that 14 day return window, you can return it even if it’s finance. Basically you get refunded the amount you paid on the spot And they close out the loan.

you can get a case for it that takes away from the squared off design and makes it slightly rounded.
