Between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., my 3Gs has an outgoing message (bits) to the net. The message is Media Net/Internet. Sometimes when there is zero activity, the number of units sent is 70. If I use the phone a lot, the number of units can be 6410.

My phone is not jailbroken. I'm moderately tech savvy. But have not seen this before.
I have Dropbox, that might be doing it.
I have a ton of apps, but don't know any that would upload to the internet.

I know there's some 'mobile spy' software out there, but you have to have a jailbroken phone for that and I've never felt the need to jailbreak any of my iphones.

I just am curious / concerned about this nightly call out between 2:00 a.m. - 2:30 a.m.

Anyone else experience this or know what this phenomenon is about?

I am on AT & T

My tech guy said he hadn't heard or seen it before and would check around. I just thought I would check the most reputable place I knew. Which is the MR Forums.
