iP4 already gets an update?

So not even a month after release the iPhone 4 gets an OS update with bug fixes and enhances features, but us iPad owners still got launch day version iOS 3.2.

I guess we are the test group. 😡

Maybe there was something that was wrong with the iPhone's software? I don't think the iPad has any major issues that compare to the iPhone 4's issues.

Thing is, swapping antenna bar images and changing the algorithms to display them isn't that hard, it's a 4.0.1-worthy change.

Making this a 4.1 release is either political, so it seems more important, or there's more due in this update that we don't know about.

There's a chance the iPad will get 4.1, but might have to wait until 4.2.

And WTF is wrong with your iPad OS? The mobile OS's share similar architecture but are unique in many ways. Unless you're holding it wrong, your iPad should be working fine. 😉

Too true. Since buying the iPhone 4 I've been wondering if I really need the iPad at all anymore. Time will tell.

My 128MB of RAM iPod touch 1G can multitask!!! Super fast!

Exactly. I deleted the app from my iPad because it's useless. It's screaming for mulitasking.

I'm just puzzled over why we can't get OS 4 now and then the extra updates for whatever it is they are doing to it for the fall release. It just doesn't make any sense. Doing one thing at a time on this thing just blows. I don't even use the email app since it's far easier to use the browser.

I haven't update any of the 3 Touches in the house to 4 because i want folders on my iPad. It will frustrate me to no end to have it on one device and not on another.....
