I just moved to a new house and my ATT reception is horrible, but I noticed my wifes ip4 gets 2-3 bars and she doesn't drop many calls. On my ip5 I get one bar and have to stand in certain places in the house to not get dropped, and even then its spotty. I'm wondering if its a hardware issue, or have others noted the ip5 doesn't perform that well?

I switched from the iPhone 5 to a Galaxy S3 for about 2 months just to try it out and I have to say the iPhone has a lot better reception. Obviously it's different for everyone but my experience is that at my work I almost always have full LTE even in the back (I work at the mall so there's a lot of stuff blocking signals) where the S3 usually had problems staying connected to the internet long enough to even load a website. Again different experience for everyone and comparing to a different phone but I'm extremely happy with the iPhone 5's ability to get a signal.

I'm also on AT&T
