iP6+ OTA update to iOS 8.0.2 from 8.0 fails for some

I never updated my iPhone 6+ to iOS 8.0.1
AT&T is my cellular service in Florida

OTA updated to iOS 8.0.2

Result: Touch ID no longer works and "Searching..." for past hour even after multiple reboots and resetted network settings

17MBPC2D, did you ever hook up your 6+ to iTunes and download the updated carrier data? Just curious if you saw that notification and have the latest data.

Not entirely sure if it matters, but just a thought...

I'm on AT&T and not having any issues with 8.0.2...

Have you tried to restart your phone or reset your network settings?

Also, you can go to general > about and see if there is a carrier update if you are on wifi. It will automatically prompt you if here is.

No prompts but I still resetted network setting with same result
Carrier displays as AT&T 17.1

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried everything...but I'll attempt to restore it back to iOS 8.0 with my iMac whenever I get home

don't restore back to 8.0.. try using iTunes to restore 8.0.2, make sure it downloads it fresh, it could be OTA bug again. and if it doesn't work then go back to 8.0

FYI, my iPhone 6 plus works again after restoring via iMac directly
The carrier update window popup on the iMac screen shortly after iPhone restarted

OTA didn't work but all is fine now

It's not letting me update....

It's from iOS 8 straight to iOS 8.0.2. It says No Service because there is no sim card in it.
