    Hi,

I used to be super happy with my ip7+ battery runtimes. I got 10+hours consistently day after day. Very often up to 11 hours of intense usage.
This has changed recently, I'm now at 19% well after 6 hours since a couple of days.
I'm not aware of having changed anything in my behavior, nor is the battery app showing any massive power drainer.

3rd party app "battery life" shows my battery is still in 100% 2900mAh condition.

Any thoughts what could have caused this, or what I could try to fix it? I know usually it's being suspected that something like this has to do with a certain new app. But maybe some app got updated and the update caused this, hard to trace..

You may want to try a restore as new and not from a backup to see it that fixes the issue.

I just realized that i put a best skin ever on my phone a couple of days ago, and that it gets a bit warm since then sometimes. Can there be any relation?

Something is using the CPU a lot and that causes it to heat up and use battery power. Look in the battery stats in settings to see witch app it is.

None at all. Did you install any new apps recently? Have you tried a hard restart(not restore)

My iPhone 7's battery doesn't seem as good as it was when I first got it either. It's still plenty enough to get me through the day but I found that kind of odd so soon.

In battery monitor there's really no particular app standing out like earlier, whatsapp or something similar draining the battery with bg activity or so. It all looks normal to me.

So I'm not going crazy lol...I noticed my battery hasn't been as good the last couple of days as well. Last night I charged it to 100%, went to bed and this morning it was down to 91%. Before, I would wake up and it would still be at 100%.

I did download some new apps, so I will delete those and see if my battery reverts back.

Indeed i have the feeling that my battery got worse, recently, and do not why. I was able to achieve 12H usage in 4 days and today I got 8h20min in 3 days. No new app though
Weird and i will further watch this.

My battery kinda seems to have gotten back to normal again. Maybe I had bad connection or something.

No nothing. But actually I installed some smart thermostats from tado in my home now which use location services and if I turn that on, the battery life turns Into a joke. But at least that's no surprise.
