iP7 same battery life of iP6S Plus on paper?

I was looking at a comparison between 6s Plus and 7/7plus and seems that the new iP7 has a battery life in par with 6s Plus (on paper at least). How's that possible?

I was wondering of downgrading to 4.7" model, only reasons why I was sticking with the 6s Plus was OIS and battery life.
 
Looks like compared to the 6s the battery in the 7 is a little bigger and the A10 processor is a little more efficient which is enough to close the gap with the 6s Plus.
