ipad 1 lost photo

Hi all,
I make backup of my ipad 1 with iTunes.
After that iTunes was update ipad to version 5.1.1, i restore from backup but my photos are missing.
I dont have iCloud backup and no photo stream. Is a any way to recovery photos. I was trying with iFonebox, DrFone, Jihosoft, ios-recovery, and all this can read my iTunes backup, but in picture folder i can see only 34 image files, but was around 400 images.

any advice?

Where were the pics from originally? Did you copy them on using iTunes too?
