iPad 1 problem when updating to iOS 4.3.3

I updated my iPad 1 last night to the latest version of iOS. For some reason now when I open any app it immediately crashes. Safari, email, and photos work OK.

I did a quick search and didn't see another thread on this problem. If there is one could someone please point me to it.

After doing a restore to original condition the problem went away.

On a side note after the restore it is running much faster and an intermittent problem. I was seeing in Safari went away.

The best that I can figure out is that one of the apps must have locked up iOS after the update to 4.3.3.

If anyone is interested I can list the apps that were installed.
