Man it just seems brutal out there for those of us trying to sell iPad 1's. I got my iPad 2 on launch day but for some dumb reason I had it in my head to wait until after I bought the 2, to sell the 1.

Now that I'm trying to sell it, prices seem to just be in the toilet. I have it listed on eBay for $599 or best offer....NOTHING. Not a single offer. I put it on Craigslist for $550, and I got 1 offer for $450. That's it. Nothing else.

For those of you wondering, it's a 32GB Wifi & 3G and it's PRISTINE. Looks like it's brand new, original packaging, etc. I'm even giving the Apple Case (in its original packaging) as part of the deal. eBay is offering $391.12 without any fees as part of their "Instant Sale" program. All of this being said, should I take the $450 from this guy? Or am I just doing something wrong here? $450 seems way too low, but I'd like to hear a concensus.

Honestly, I would say $450 is a good resale value for a previous generation product that was $729 when it came out.

Take $450 that is a good deal. that way you don't make 450 on ebay pay ebay fees and then pay paypal fees and end up with 200!

Take IT!

I've been checking craigslist, eBay, and Amazon. Yesterday, there was a like new iPad 32 wifi/3G for $400 on Amazon. You need to take it for $450 as bad as that sounds it may just get worse.

I bought my iPad 1 for $450. It was a 32gb 3G. It came with the apple case and was in great shape. It seemed like a very fair price to me. I'd take the $450.
