I always thought my iPad storage was fine until I tried to install the new OS8, and now it tells me I don't have enough space - needs about 6 gigs. I've deleted a bunch of seldom used apps but still not enough. If I delete all my photos that might do it - are they all in the cloud anyway, and how easy is it to access them like when an amp wants to view my photos so I can mess with it?
Thx

The .ipsw file is a compressed package.

It needs space to be decompressed and written before the software components are moved into place.

When you do an iTunes update, the first part of the process takes place on the computer.
