iPad 2 and airplay with current stereo system

Has anyone seen a cheap dongle that will allow me to use airplay with my existing stereo setup? I know you can use things like an airport express, but I would like to setup 2-4 sets of speakers around the house and at $100 a pop that gets pricey fast.

I'm wondering the same thing.. but I think having multiple airport expresses is really the only way to go.. That way , you can also toggle between which ones you send the sound to, right on your Ipad. Thinking of having an electrician come in and wire a nice speaker into my ceiling in my kitchen. Already have an airport express in my living room, and sunroom. Love it!
