P.S.
I don't like it.

I'll copy what a 9to5mac user said.
"If it looks like this, I'm not upgrading."

I hate the look. That speaker down there looks bonkers.

so it's gonna be the same OS? :(

Of course, Apple always announces major new iOS versions in the spring and then releases them in the summer with the new iPhone. The iPad's fall update to iOS4 was just because they were behind on the iPad version. I would expect future updates to happen at the same time for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

I still can't believe that the speaker is going to be on the back of the device... How can it be? It looks terrible and isn't practical especially if you want to use a portfolio type case...

If they go with a tapered design like the iPod touch then where would they put it?

Is that thing showing a working display or is it just a picture stuck on?

The icons are very wonky and it shows weather and calculator apps. The font used for the clock is wrong too.

I think you complainers are just unhappy the version 2 isn't a "major" advancement towards the Air.

If you want all the functionality of the Air go buy one, it's not that much more.

The new IPad looks good and makes me know I'll stick with version one for now. Nothing worth "upgrading to.

I must admit.

If you had asked me a little while ago I'd have said I was 100% going to get an iPad2

I don't want facetime (but I'm happy for it to be there) but I really did was a usable rear camera for spur of the moment indoor shots.

It's really looking, unbelievably like it's not going to have a flash unit on the rear camera, which is going to get them slaughtered in the reviews, I can see.

So that kills it for indoor photo's, unless you want noise/grain and dim images.

Given the OS it probably not going to be changed hardly at all, the screen won't be changed res wise, the speaker is going to be more towards the back, so when used on a flat surface or say, on your bed at night it will block the sound (stupid design)

Unless there is something really ground breaking inside, power wise.

I hate to say this, but I think I may actually prefer the iPad1

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

Ugh can't stand the wait I feel like just getting 1st gen then selling it -- but don't really wanna go through the hassle.
