I think a black frame helps the screen "pop" so I'm going with black pad and black leather cover. Simple yet classic. 🙂

Wife say's.........BOOOOOORING. 🙄
 
Good. If everyone else wants white I'll have a better chance of getting the 32Gig black one I want on Friday.

Like, I'm sure, many here, when I first saw the white, I was like "yuck, no thanks!", but then I gradually warmed up to it, and now am seriously considering getting a white model when iPad 3 comes out.

iPad 3? Yep, I already have the original iPad and am skipping this one.
 
I voted black and commented that I was likely going black but I'm still deliberating!

My family prefers black and I originally agreed, but white is growing on me A LOT.

Do people think they'll have them for demoing at BestBuy? I don't have a local Apple Store and I want to see them both in person...

I'm to the point now where if I get there and they don't have the one I want I'll get the other.



I love how the biggest issue I'm going through in my life right now is when I'm going to BestBuy for the iPad 2 launch and what color iPad I'm going to buy.
 
Black.

I initially thought I was a white Apple gadget fan. (Tried to get a white iphone 4, but gave up and got a black one)
But now I think black is too sexy to resist. Agree that white one looks like toy-ish and reminds me of the Amazon Kindle.

So black. Black is the new black! 😀

Plus, I'm a girl. I still don't think white one is girly.
 
While I like the white version better, I think the black version will make for easier resale in September when iPad3 comes out.

Oh god, I don't know 🙁

I want White as it's new, it's clean, fresh and different.

But I know Black will act as a better frame for games and movies and be less distracting.

How about an LED backlit bezel that can change colour 🙂
 
Since i'm outside the US I am going to hold back and see what the reviews say. I do think the black border will make the screen pop.
 
I think the best way to see the white border's affect on the screen would be to rock up to the Apple store once they're out. That's what I'll be doing. I also want to see how well the aluminium back and the white border blends together.

I may be a guy, buy my favorite color is pink. To be honest, from the pictures on the website the pink cover is a bit too light. I like darker pinks. That's ok though, I've got plans for mine. I'm going to see if I can airbrush a design on top of it using some home-made stencils (using darker pinks of course ;D ).

Now if the cover turns out to be a darker pink then the pictures on the Apple store appear, I might just go it as is. I think it'd be fun to airbrush though.
The upside is that I doubt they'll sell out of the pink one!
 
I think the white is cool because it's covered in glass, therefore it wont fade.

I'll bet a lot of you will see the white and want one, having gone in already decided on black.

I'mm just going to get a white I think for a change. Albeit, white IS a bit tacky 😉
