iPad 2 - iOS 9 upgrade

i updated to iOS 9 last night. I have found the I Pad particularly slow today and cannot update many apps.

Is this upgrade the issue?

I have had no apparent problems with my iPad 2 on iOS 9 over the past week.

iOS 8 pretty much killed my iPad 2. I sucked it up though and hoped iOS 9 would help but sadly it did not. Anything past 7.1.X on an iPad 2 is just awful. 512MB of RAM is the issue. After 4.5 years of my iPad 2, finally got an Air 2 during th Staples promo. So happy I did.

You can try restoring it as new, but I really didn't see a difference when I did it (multiple times).

the only issues i get on my ipad2 with the later ios's is safari constantly telling me there's been an error loading this page and it needs to be re-loaded. all this time this happens. what a faff! hope this isnt the case on newer ipads.

Lack of RAM causes that issue. Not an issue on the Air 2. Hasn't happened once. iOS 9 uses too much RAM for just the OS. Any device with less than 1GB shouldn't have gotten iOS 8 or 9.

Same issue here with ios 9, safari is constant loading error and to reload. ios 8 had no problems.

We dont either - my youngest daughter has the 2 and shes the type to complain about stuff so for her to be quiet must say something, 😉
