iPad 2 was idle on my chest and the next thing I know the screen goes black and then I see the :apple: logo. It came right back on but it was really weird.

I did just change my setting (turned off the Ping notification), so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Coincidentally, I noticed the dreaded "backlight bleeding" as well when it did reboot.

Anyone else have this happen?

Never seen it myself.
 
This has happened to me twice now with my iPad 2. Has me a tad nervous. If it persists I'll just do an exchange I guess.
