I dont think Apple will be able to control what security allows and doesnt allow. Either way I hope you are right. Anyone taking the day off work or anyone not going to school to line up? With two apple stores in a 10 mile radius, several bestbuys, Verizon and ATT Stores, and Walmarts I dont think we will have a tough time getting one Fri.

Glimcher will want to keep Apple happy, it's a big coup to have an Apple store in your mall and I'm sure they will work with Apple. We'll have to see how it pans out. I hope you're right about not having any trouble getting one because I'm ready! Haha

With all of apple's distribution points I think we will be ok getting one on Fri. What time will you all be getting there?

I called the walmart by Easton and they said they will sell them at 8am Friday. Not sure if this is legit but am gonna try to stop in Thursday.

Def keep us updated! There's a BB right by my place at Tuttle, so I may just head there around 4. I got the iPad 1 there on a weekend morning and the line was pretty short.

yeah i had no intent of buying the ipad 1 but when i drove by the BB close to my house i saw how short the line was and waited for 30 minutes before the store opened. got the ipad.

I just read in another thread that microcenters will have them as well on launch day. Maybe will check out the one close to campus at 9am and see if they will sell them early or ticket and allow to come

I'm going by the BB in Reynoldsburg tonight to see what they're doing about possible vouchers / line etc. I don't work near the Apple store so I probably won't make it if there's a line.

Polaris Mall is opening and ready for lines at 8am. Confirmed with Apple and Mall Management. They're security is far more "friendly" than Easton. Since it's an inside wait, and temps are expected to be 40 and snowing, Polaris will be the place to go. I think getting there between noon and 3 will be a sure bet, anything after 3 starts to be risky. There are no online pre-orders, so this will be a large launch at the stores! I seriously doubt that any retailers that will sell earlier than 5pm when Apple's website says 5pm. Don't be fooled. Good luck everyone!

Walmart by Easton said they will be getting their shipment tonight between 8 and 9pm. The guy said they will sell at 8am when they finish stocking their previous night delivery. Guess we will see tomorrow AM.

Talked to the Microcenter on Bethel Rd and they said after 5PM. I think I'll head to BB at Tuttle at 4PM. Sounds like they should have plenty and I cant see there being huge lines.

I think I'm going to Best Buy instead of the mall. I'm going to play it by ear tomorrow. If I manage to get mine at Best Buy I will probably head to Polaris for accessories afterward.

No, that's the beauty of hastags. Any tweets posted on Twitter with that hashtag can be searched when you search for that hashtag (as long as the person who tweeted doesn't "protect" their tweets.).
