Hi all,

I'm passing down my iPad 2 to my little sister. I thought i'd completely wipe the thing before I gave it to her so she can start with a "clean slate".

I went in to the settings on the iPad 2 and tapped through the buttons to erase absolutely everything.

It's been about an hour now and the progress bar under the small Apple logo :apple: has not moved at all. Is this normal? I thought it was a relatively quick process.

It is a 16gb (4gb free at the time of wipe) WiFi model, and the update is 4.3.3.

Now this is where I think something might be going wrong; the iPad is Jailbroken.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I've had a little look on Google and can find something similar but for the iPhone 4, and i'm kind of stumped

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

was the 4.3.3 blob saved when apple was still signing it?

if so, a dfu restore will be the quickest way to get it back to the factory default.
