iPad 2 - Orange on contract - Is it locked?

If I purchased an iPad 2 on 24 month contract, is it unlocked to use with any sim-card or is it locked to Orange?

Just a guess, but maybe Orange could tell you? 😉

Rule of thumb, though, is that discounted iPads sold on contract are usually locked, for obvious reasons.

Yes it will be locked if you pay the discounted price that comes with their 24 month contracts.
