Never having owned an IPad, what power cord comes with it? A USB or 120v cord? If it's a USB only cord would most people recommend buying a 120v cord also? How else would you charge it while traveling?

Would I be able to use an iPhone 4 USB wall adapter and USB cable with the iPad?

Whats compatible, and what isnt

Yes you can but the iPad comes with a special 10W Power Adapter, the iPhone only comes with a 5W adapter, so charging your iPad with an iPhone charger will take twice as long (unless you charge it over night, then their is no difference).

I would buy an xtra 10W adapter if you did not have one. Charging the iPad with the 5W charger takes for ever
