Never having owned an IPad, what power cord comes with it? A USB or 120v cord? If it's a USB only cord would most people recommend buying a 120v cord also? How else would you charge it while traveling?

It will come with a USB cord and a AC to USB adapter, so you're covered even without a computer.

Yes, but it will take longer to charge.

You can also charge an iPhone with the iPad adapter. And the USB cables are all the same.

Yes you can but the iPad comes with a special 10W Power Adapter, the iPhone only comes with a 5W adapter, so charging your iPad with an iPhone charger will take twice as long (unless you charge it over night, then their is no difference).

I would buy an xtra 10W adapter if you did not have one. Charging the iPad with the 5W charger takes for ever
