ipad 2 really slow internet

My wife says her internet is very slow. I tried to find a way to clear cache or history without success. How is this done? Must she have an app for this? Our iphones and MacBook do fine surfing with no issues.

Go into Settings. Then scroll down till you find Safari on the left side . Click on that then scroll down on the right side to the bottom and click on Clear History and Website Data
