My iPad 2 was in a travel bag and a bottle of Listerine spilled on it. It smells minty fresh and probably has no bacteria in it, but it won't turn on. I've got it apart and I can hear some buzzing from the logic board when powered on, but nothing on the screen.

Anyone know if it's maybe the LCD that has shorted? Any other ideas?

TIA

Fill a ziplock bag with rice, stick the (powered off) iPad inside, and close the bag. Keep it in there for at least 24 hours. The rice is a desiccant.

If that fails, visit your nearest Apple store.

Thanks for the reply. I have already tried the rice trick. It is fully dry inside. I think the problem is my wife tried to turn it on while it was still wet.
