M martosprint macrumors 6502 Jun 1, 2010 337 15 Florida May 29, 2012 #4 I am in north Florida and my iPad 3/4 G normally shows just one or two bars most of the time, and sometimes 3 bars, but I don't notice that it slows down any even when showing 1 bar.
