IPad 3 3G problems

Could anyone here let me know if they re getting more than 3 bars on THREE network's reception with their (2012) iPad's 3G connection?

Hi,
I'm in north London. 2 bars is the usual, and 3 bars is the max I get.

I am in north Florida and my iPad 3/4 G normally shows just one or two bars most of the time, and sometimes 3 bars, but I don't notice that it slows down any even when showing 1 bar. 
